The Educational
Administration Bureau refers to the reformation of educational
ideology and concept as the introduction, the reformation
of teaching as core and motivation. Under the leading of
school authorities, solemnly perform the functions of organization,
coordination, administration, as well as the promotion of
teaching reformation, teaching construction, teaching management,
rely on the students and faculty, firmly take hold of the
life line of teaching quality, search for the reformation
path of teaching management, aim at the advancement of teaching
quality, cultivation of more and better talents, and all-round
promotion of scale, formation, quality and effect of education
undertakings in a harmonious developing way. Now many efforts
are being made to enhance the policy guidance, macroscopic
management, comprehensive coordination, assessment and supervision,
so as to provide the faculty and students with all-round
teaching and supervising services.
Majors(专业设置）
There are now 18
colleges in CCNU, including the College of Management, Education,
Science of Politics and Law, Literature, Studies of History
and Culture, Life Science, Economy, Foreign Languages, Physical
Science and Technology; 9 departments, including Information
Technology, Information Management, Computer Science, Music,
Art and Physical Education; more than 50 institutes and
research centers, such as institute of Society Science,
Pesticide, Applied Physics, Multimedia Research; 49 under
graduate courses prepares for bachelor's degree. Apart form
the Institute of Professional Technology, Continual Education,
International Education, the Training Center of Teachers
from Central and Southern China, the Training Center of
Educational Administrator from the South and Center of China
directed by Education Ministry, there are also 'Huawen Education
Center' permitted by Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs
belonging to State Council, College of Chinese and International
Studies recruiting foreign students. Now the University
has 20000 students, and has basically set up the complete
educational system for high-level-teachers, ranging from
undergraduate to postgraduate, doctor to post-doctor, full-time
study to adult education.
Education
of Undergraduate Student（本科生教育）
CCNU now has 49
majors for undergraduates, respectively belonging to College
of Management, Education, Science of Politics and Law, Literature,
Studies of History and Culture, Life Science, Economy, Foreign
Languages, Physical Science and Technology, and Department
of Information Technology, Information Management, Computer
Science, Music, Art and Physical Education. The University
bases itself upon Hubei Province, faces the south and center
of China, radiates from center to the whole country, and
it's now striving with great morale and high spirit to build
itself into a teaching and research comprehensive university
which has strong and prestigious academic strength, distinctive
characters and influence in the world-wide.
Education
of Postgraduate（研究生教育）
The faculty of the
university consists in 245 professors, 447 associate professors,
among which the number of doctoral adviser accounts for
108. It's one of the units that are permitted to have the
authorization of doctoral and master's degree, having the
authority to appraise and authorize the qualification of
professor, associate professor and doctoral adviser. The
university also has 3 National Research Centers for Cultivation
of Scholars on Basic Courses of Arts and Sciences (Majors
of Physical Science, Historical Studies, Chinese Linguistics
and Literature), 3 National key Research Centers for Humane
and Sociology Studies(Institute of Chinese Modern History
Studies, Research Centers for Chinese Rural Studies, Research
Centers for Language and Language Teaching), 5 Post-Doctoral
Research Programs prepared for students majoring in Chinese
Language Literature, Physical Studies and other subjects,
5 first-class subjects for doctorate and master's degree,
53 majors for authorization of doctorate and 97 majors for
master's degree.

of Foreign Students（留学生教育）
Now the university
has established cooperative research relationships with
nearly 50 universities and teaching research institutes,
which are located in the USA, German, Japan, France, Italy,
Great Briton, Russia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Poland, South Korea,
Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, News Land, as well as the
regions of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Here after the university
will live up to the primary principle of 'extending the
communication channels, promoting the communication process,
giving prominence to emphasis, laying stress on particular
results' and the developing concept of 'long running water
without interruption', which serves as a link between the
past and future, so as to bring the mass aspects of external
education affairs into the track of the systematic project
of communications among schools and devote major efforts
to extending the channels of international cooperative and
communication on school education.
Vocational
Technical College（职业技术教育）
CCNU Vocational
Technical College is one of the earliest vocational technical
college in Hubei Province. It began to enroll students from
1997 and was assured as one of the first 15 model vocational
technical colleges. It locates in CCNU and has 5000 square
meters' building for teaching and executing, has teaching
apparatus worthy 20 various laboratories. The college has
faculty over 40, 48.6% of which are professors and associate
professors.
It also has a stable team of qualified part-time teachers
from and outside CCNU. It has 7 majors including Computer
Application, Electronic Information Engineering, Electronic
Business, Accounting, Decoration Design, Business English,
MPA. Its admission is in nation-wide. It now has 1300 students.
After the students graduate from the technological academy,
and pass the assess test, they can attend the corresponding
undergraduate course to study. According to the need of
the vocational education's development, the college is now
applying for the undergraduate major of application technology.

CCNU Networking
Academy was founded in July 2000, for the people who are
on the job to continuing education by the way of studying
after work hours. It provides the chance of continuing education
to those people who are eager to accept higher education
and further education. Our university is one of the unit
members of the Internet Association of National Teachers'
Education in the Ministry of Education. On the one hand,
it makes the most use of our excellent resource of education.
On the other hand, it provides omni-directional services
to learners, depending on the Internet Association of National
Teachers' Education numerous resource and priority of management.
The Internet Association of National Teachers' Education
complement the advantages, integrate the resource. Teachers'
education system, television network of the satellite and
computer Internet circulate each other and integrate the
system. School education combines with several forms of
education such as modern distance education. The academic
credentials education communicates with the unacademic credentials
education, constructing and sharing high-quality educational
resources, building teacher's life-time study system, accelerating
the process of teacher's education information. Thus, it
can realize the innovation, integration and leap-type development
of teacher's education and provides the service and support
to middle and primary school teachers for their quality's
constant improvement and life-time study.
