General Intrduction
				Library of Central China Normal University is divided into two parts, the Old Building which was founded in 1961, and the New Building (named Yi Fu Building), which was erected in 1989. the Library occupies a total area of 13,700 square kilometers, with a beautiful scenery in the courtyard and a spacious and comfortable environment inside for study.

The Library possesses altogether 18 reading rooms of various kinds, which can hold over 1126 readers at a time . The Library adopts the entire open-shelf approach in the document circulation .By the year of 2004, the Library has possessed more than 2,000,000 collections, including over 1,680,000 kinds of chinese periodicals and 200,000 kinds of foreign periodicals,120,000 kinds of ancient books,3000 kinds of sounts and pictures datums .
