I am very sorry to hear that Professor Zhang Kaiyuan has passed away. He was a great scholar. I had the honor and good fortune to meet Professor Zhang in July 2019 briefly while I was at Central China Normal University to conduct a workshop. My sympathies and deepest condolences to his family on this loss. May he rest in peace.
